It has been said, "never trust a skinny chef."

My question: Can this idea be transferred to the coffee world?

"Never trust a mellow barista." (The idea being, that a mellow barista doesn't drink coffee, thus he won't have the coffee passion necessary to bring you the god-shot.)

I think the real deal is not the perceived "mellowness" of one's barista, but rather: when he or she sweats... is their sweat brown and smells like fresh brew?


And please allow me to add to the list:
Never trust a barber with hair that is feathered back like some member of Skid Row, or any other 80's hair band.
